Haruo Miyako
Prior to joining Capital & Marketing Securities, Mr Miyako served as Chairman and Representative Director of Mitsubishi Corporation Capital Ltd, a fully-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, and a licensed securities firm and an investment advisor specializing in alternative investments. Between 2000 and 2005 he was President & Representative Director of Nomura BlackRock Asset Management Co., Ltd. ("NBAM"), a joint venture between BlackRock and Nomura Asset Management and established as the investment management and client service arm of BlackRock in Japan. Mr. Miyako started his career at Nomura Securities where he held a number of senior positions, initially at Nomura Securities (in London and Tokyo) and later on at Nomura Asset Management and Nomura BlackRock. He is a graduate of the International Christian University in Tokyo.
